Lightning and heavy rains forced the postponement of the 32nd Annual Preble County Track Meet last week. After just a few events, Mother Nature put an end to the meet, which was being held on Tuesday, April 29, at Eaton’s new athletic complex. The five county schools were scheduled to resume the meet on Monday, May 5, at Eaton, to complete the annual meet which is one of the longest running meets of its kind in the state of Ohio. New this year to the meet was the boys’ and girls’ steeple chase and hammer throws. Looks for complete results in next week’s edition of The Register-Herald.
