Seth Baker scored 23 points and Wes Cole added 21 to lead Twin Valley South to a 59-57 win over Dayton Christian in a non-league boys basketball game on Friday, Jan. 31, at Twin Valley South.

With the win, the Panthers have now won five of their last six games.

After trailing 12-11 after the opening quarter, South rallied to take a 29-27 halftime lead. The two teams played an even second half.

For the game, South knocked down seven 3-pointers, en route to their 10th win of the season. Baker connected on five 3-pointers, while Cole added the other two.

Michael Green scored nine.

South (10-7) was scheduled to travel to Milton-Union Tuesday, Feb. 4, before traveling up Ohio 503 on Friday to battle with rival Tri-County North. On Saturday, South will look to get revenge when they host Preble Shawnee. Shawnee topped the Panthers in the finals of the Preble Shawnee Holiday Tournament back in December.

On Tuesday, Feb. 11, South will host Franklin-Monroe in a game that was postponed on Jan. 25.
