Eaton High School Golf


The 2014 Eaton High School golf season will begin on Aug. 1, at Eaton Country Club, at 9 a.m. All fall forms, physical, concussion form, Emergency medical must be turn in before practice begins with no exceptions. Players may drop off completed paperwork of at the Eaton High School office or on July 24 from 5-7 p.m. in the wellness center. Questions? NT Family Fun Night


National Trail Cross Country is hosting a fundraiser Family Fun night. All proceeds go to the NTXC team. It will be held at National Trail Football Field Aug. 8, from 8 p.m.-1 a.m. There will be games, food, door prizes, and a movie. Cost is $10 or $20 for an entire family. Cost includes entry, food, and fun.


Run with the Wolves 5k


The Indiana University East Run with the Wolves 5K Run/Walk is Saturday, July 26. Registration is now open.


Runners and walkers will join more than 400 other participants for this year’s event on the IU East campus and run the Red Wolves’ cross country course, located behind Hayes Hall. The event includes a free “Run with Rufus” 1K family run/walk.


All pre-registrants receive a Run with the Wolves tech shirt.


Day-of-race registration opens at 7 a.m. on July 26 on the Hayes Hall patio, located on the lower level of the building. The 5K run/walk starts at 8 a.m. followed by the “Run with Rufus” at 9:05 a.m. Awards will be presented at 9:25 a.m. at the Hayes Hall patio.


Run with the Wolves is part of the Wayne County Challenge series.


Register online at iue.edu/5K. Registration is $25. Students in grades K-12 and college can register for $20. Proceeds from the event will benefit student scholarship programs of the IU East Alumni Association and the IU East Red Wolves Athletic Department.

IU East volleyball, all-sports passes available


Indiana University East volleyball and all-sports season passes for the 2014-15 school year are now available.


Volleyball season passes are $40 for the Red Wolves’ 10 home dates - a savings of $10 over purchasing tickets match-by-match.


All-sports seasons passes are good for all 23 IU East volleyball and men’s and women’s basketball home dates (excluding possible conference tournament and national tournament contests). All-sports passes are $90 — a savings of at least $25 over purchasing tickets contest-by-contest.


Pick up your season tickets in person in the IU East Athletics Office in Springwood Hall 101, or contact the IU East Athletics Office at 765-973-8316 with questions about season tickets.


Basketball-only season passes will be available this fall.


NT seeking coaches


National Trail needs coaches for the 2014-15 school year to fill the following vacancies: 7th grade volleyball, 7th grade girls basketball, reserve girls volleyball, reserve baseball, reverse boys basketball, reserve softball, 7th and 8th grade boys and girls track, assistant varsity track, varsity track head coach, varsity baseball coach.

EHS football seats on sale


Reserved stadium seating for all home Eaton High School varsity football games for the 2014 season are available for purchase beginning Aug. 4. Seating options are:


Stadium Seating: $75 per seat includes admission (not including playoff games)


$45 per seat with purchase of Athletic Family Pass or with Senior Citizen Pass


Bench Back Seating: $50 per seat includes admission (not including playoff games)


$20 per seat with purchase of Athletic Family Pass or with Senior Citizen Pass


Purchases can be made in the Eaton High School main office, located at 600 Hillcrest Drive, between the hours of 9 a.m.-noon and 1-3 p.m. beginning Aug. 4. Contact the main office at 937-456-1141 with questions.


ECS passes available


In order to provide loyal fans of the Eaton Fighting Eagles an opportunity to attend athletic events at a reduced price, the Eaton Athletic Department will be selling discount sport passes for the 2014-2015 school year. The passes will be valid for all home Eaton High School and Eaton Middle School athletic contests, including Invitational events. OHSAA tournament events are not included.


Family passes are available for $200 for a family of four (2 adults/2 students or 1 adult/3 students), with additional passes available for $20 each. We will also offer individual adult passes for $80 per pass and individual student passes for $60 per pass (when not sold as part of the family pass program). All passes are valid for the entire 2014-15 school year.


Also, to extend our appreciation to longtime supporters of the Eaton Community School District, individuals living within the district who are 60 years of age or over, may receive a complimentary lifetime pass. Lifetime passes may also be used to attend drama productions and other events at Eaton Community Schools.


Beginning Monday, Aug. 4, all of the above passes will be available at the Eaton High School main office, located at 600 Hillcrest Drive, between the hours of 9 a.m.-noon and 1-3:00 p.m. Contact the main office at 937-456-1141 with questions.
