For the 45th year, the Eaton High School AfterProm will be sponsored by the Eaton Rotary Club. The event, Saturday, May 3, will featured games and raffles and chances to win prizes for students from midnight-3 a.m. as a safe way to end prom night. Chaperoned by rotary members and attended by school administrators as well, there will be thousands of dollars in prizes given away, including Cincinnati Reds tickets, a computer, 100 t-shirts, Miami University jerseys, shirts and warm-ups, Eaton High School parking passes, YMCA passes, NBA and NFL jerseys, Kings Island tickets, gas and food coupons and more. One special raffle, scheduled for 2:30 a.m., featured a chance to win an NFL football autographed by Jack Harbaugh, former Eaton High School coach and NCAA National Coach of the Year, Jim Harbaugh, Sand Francisco 49er’s coach, and John Harbaugh, Baltimore Ravens’ Super Bowl XLVII-winning coach. Posing with the football and some of the items to be given away are student council treasurer, Yue Lin; secretary Andrew Ferguson; president Jen Selby, and members Andy Newport and Morgan Evans.
