Ohio Business Week Scholarships awarded

EATON — Eaton High School students A.J. Hewitt, Theo Darr, John Christman, Josh Pool, Matt Wright, Nicholas Erbaugh and Adam Webb were recently awarded $500 scholarships for Ohio Business Week at Ohio University.

Ohio Business Week is a one-week program designed to teach high school students the inside story on business operations and the principles of our free enterprise system.

This is the 29th anniversary of Ohio Business Week. Preble County has had 181 Ohio Business Week graduates. Preble County sponsors have donated $100,000 for scholarships in the past 28 years.

Scholarships this year were donated by the following businesses and organizations: Preble County Chamber of Commerce, U. S. Bank, Mr. & Mrs. Don Pollock, Remagen Inc., Henny Penny Corporation, Eaton Rotary Club, Lewisburg Container, Mr. & Mrs. John Tuggle, Rexarc Inc., Mr. & Mrs. Joe Renner, and Mr. and Mrs. Doug Ulrich.
