Local chiropractor and Toys for Tots team up for families in need
By Michael Zimmerman
On Dec. 14, Preble County Chiropractic, the office of Dr. Matthew Roberts, held its fifth annual Toys for Tots day.
This was Dr. Roberts’ first community event in his new location at the Preble County Medical Center. During this day, patients brought in a new, unwrapped toys to give to local children in return for free chiropractic care. This year, the office were collected over a truckload of toys for Preble County families in need, and Preble County Toys for Tots.
“We try to make this a fun day for everyone, and provide bagels, doughnuts, and refreshments for the patients and staff,” Roberts said. “This is a great opportunity to give to those less fortunate in our community and help those children experience the joy of Christmas.
“Thanks to all the patients of Preble County Chiropractic for a successful Toys for Tots drive! It’s amazing to see how a community giving collectively can make such a huge difference. Thanks to your generosity we collected two big boxes and over 20 trash bags full of toys.”
