ENGLEWOOD — The Miami Valley Career Technology Center (MVCTC) Electives, Business, Information Technology, and Agriculture (EBITA) Department under the leadership of Supervisor, David Peltz, recognizes a Student of the Month each month during the school year. The award honors outstanding accomplishments and leadership in Career Tech Education.

Paisley Jones (Brookville) from Zach Gueth’s Sports Marketing and Management Program; Dakota Cox (Tri-County North) from Larry Seibel’s Diesel Power Technologies Program; and Austin Pearce (Northmont) from John Underwood’s Computer Network Engineering Program, were recognized as the EBITA October 2015 Students of the Month.

Cox, in Diesel Power and Technology, is a chapter FFA Officer and he has served MVCTC as a student ambassador. His instructor, Seibel, recognized Cox’s work ethic and leadership in stating, “Dakota is very active in FFA and the program and he works extremely hard while keeping up with all classroom obligations.”
