Outdoor Family Movie Night

The Eaton Church of the Brethren will be hosting a outdoor movie night on Friday, June 19. The church is located on 813 Camden Road, in Eaton. There will be free popcorn and showing of Disney “Big Hero 6. ” A concession stand will also be available. Bring your own lawn chair of blanket. Pre movie activities start at 8:00 p.m. and the movie will start at 9:15 p.m.

Huge Garage Sale

Visitation Catholic Church will be hosting a large garage on Thursday, June 11 and Friday, June 12 from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. The church is located at 407 East Main Street in Eaton, the event will be hosted in the church hall, entrance off parking lot. For more information call 937-456-4025.

Annual sale

Eaton United Methodist Church, 120 N. Maple Street, Eaton, will hold its annual rummage sale, sponsored by the Agape Class, on Thursday, June 4, from 8 a.m.-5 p.m. Bag sale will be Friday, June 5, from 8 a.m.-noon.

“Singspiration”

The Wares Chapel UMC invites the public to a “Patriotic Singspiration” at the church on Sunday, June 28, at 7 p.m. All persons of any denomination are invited to join in the hymn singing. A time of fellowship with light refreshments will follow the program.

The church is located west of U.S. 127 at 1060 Foos Road, West Manchester. All facilities are handicap accessible and air conditioned.

Free movie

See the Hit Movie “Do You Believe?” at The First Southern Baptist Church in Camden, Sunday night, July 5, at 6:30 p.m. The church is located at the corners of U.S. 127 and Ohio 725 in Camden.

VBS in Camden

The First Southern Baptist Church in Camden invites those 5 years old through 12th grade to experience 2015 “Journey off the Map” Vacation Bible School. From 6-8:30 p.m. nightly, it will be a week of learning about what the Bible has to say about the love of God. Call 937-452-7291 for more information.

Free Community Dinner

The Gratis Church of the Brethren will be hosting a free community dinner on Tuesday, June 16 from 6-7:30 p.m. The church is located at the corner of 503 and Mack Street in Gratis, Ohio. The dinner will be a grilled chicken breast dinner.

Community dinner

Visitation Catholic Church, 407 East Main Street, Eaton, will have its monthly Community Dinner on Thursday, June 25. It will be a cookout with all-you-can-eat burgers and hot dogs. There is no charge for the meal which is served from 4-5:30 p.m. in the church hall. Enter at the entrance off the parking lot. Anyone in the community is welcome. The church hall, is handicap accessible. For information call 456-3380.

The next two community dinners will be held July 30.

Crabbs in concert

Jason Crabb, his brother Adam, and a special guest will appear at a special event at Covenant of Peace International Ministries located at 4745 U.S. 127 North in Eaton on Friday, June 26. The concert starts at 7 p.m. and the doors open at 6 p.m. VIP tickets with meet and greet, $25; reserved $20; general seating $15; 13-18 yrs. $5; 12 and under free. Camden United Methodist Church’s “All You Can Eat Breakfast,” will be held the fourth Saturday of every month, 7-11 a.m. Cost is $6.

Go Ministries

Go Ministries International has moved from 5125 U.S. 40, New Paris to West Orchard Street, in West Manchester. This is just eight miles from its former location. Go Ministries is a full gospel/non-denominational church with something for the entire family. Sunday worship and children’s church is at 10:30 a.m. Bible study and Soldiers for Christ Youth services are Tuesday at 6:30 p.m. Live bluegrass the first Friday of every month and southern gospel national and local groups, 7-9 p.m. Admission is free and a love offering will be received.
