Holiday Bazaar


Normandy United Methodist Women are organizing their Annual Holiday Bazaar Wednesday, Nov. 5, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. There will be handcrafted or homemade items available for Christmas giving or decorating. There will also be baked goods, country art, needlecraft, antiques, collectables, a flea market, Christmas decorations, candy and to-go chili. A soup and sandwich lunch will be served from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Proceeds are divided among world, national and local mission projects. The church is located at 450 W. Alex-Bell Road in Centerville.


Brunch Fundraiser


There will be a Brunch Fundraiser at 11:30 a.m. on Oct. 12 at the First United Church of Christ at 400 N. Main St. in Lewisburg. The menu includes breakfast casseroles, waffles, sausage gravy and biscuits, fruit, bacon, sausage and more. Donations will be accepted. Backpack program


The Lewisburg Area Council of Churches is now accepting applications for school backpacks and shoes for the 2014/2015 school year. Applications can be picked up at the LACC Food Pantry Mondays and Fridays 10-11 a.m. and Wednesdays 6-7 p.m. The Food Pantry is located at Trinity Lutheran Church, 511 N. Commerce St. in Lewisburg. Students must be enrolled at Tri County North.


Breakfast


Camden United Methodist Church, “All You Can Eat Breakfast,” which will be held the fourth Saturday of every month, 7-11 a.m. Cost is $6.


Go Ministries


Go Ministries International has moved from 5125 U.S. 40, New Paris to West Orchard Street, in West Manchester. This is just eight miles from its former location. Go Ministries is a full gospel/non-denominational church with something for the entire family. Sunday worship and children’s church is at 10:30 a.m. Bible study and Soldiers for Christ Youth services are Tuesday at 6:30 p.m. Live bluegrass the first Friday of every month and southern gospel national and local groups, 7-9 p.m. Admission is free and a love offering will be received. For group information, call 937-533-0042. Pastors Doug and Sharon Townsend and the congregation welcome the public.
