NEW PARIS — Ralph and Eileen Silvers will be celebrated their 70th wedding anniversary last month. Ralph, son of the late Roy and Mae Silvers of New Paris and Eileen, daughter of the last Hugh and Mildred Schroder of New Madison, were married Dec. 14 1945, by reverend Frank Rogers of New Madison.

They are the parents of New Paris residents Jack Silvers, Joyce Van Winkle and Jill Lynew and Jim Silvers, deceased.
