NEW PARIS — The Preble Soil and Water Conservation District Annual Meeting will be held Thursday, Sept. 8, at Today’s Harvest Farm in New Paris.

Beginning at 4 p.m., families are welcome to come explore the corn maze, play corn hole or putt-putt golf, attempt to solve the Farm Scene Investigation mystery, and try out duck races. The Board of Supervisors election will take place from 5:30-6:30 p.m. Donn Kolb of Gasper Township and Donald Hays of Jackson Township are running for one open position on the board.

The meal, provided by Bear Paw Catering, will be served at 6 p.m., followed by the program, including speaker John Lenhart, Shelby County Sheriff and SWCD Board Member.

In addition, this year’s Hall of Fame and Outstanding Cooperator recipients will be honored. Local FFA members will help provide entertainment for children during the program.
