Preble Soil and Water Conservation District Annual Plant Sale under way

PREBLE COUNTY — Would you like to beautify your yard, increase your property value, help wildlife, reduce the lawn area you need to mow, grow your own food, or help air quality by planting trees? If so, the Preble Soil and Water Conservation District’s Annual Plant Sale is underway, and we have some great plant options available at reasonable prices. As in past years, deciduous trees, shrubs, evergreens, and marking flags are available. In addition, we are offering some new items this year, including:

• Assorted tree packs including one each of several species.

• Perennial plants in one gallon pots. The species being offered are beneficial for bees, butterflies, and wildlife, as well as being low maintenance and easy to grow.

• A butterfly and hummingbird garden seed mix, which contains 26 assorted species which are beneficial for butterflies, bees, and hummingbirds.

• Strawberry plants

To get an order form and more information, visit www.prebleswcd.org or stop by the office at 1651 N. Barron St., Eaton. Orders will be collected through March 24. Call 456-5159 with questions.
