Bigfoot researcher presenting at library

EATON — Preble County and the surrounding areas have a history of Bigfoot experiences. The most well-known of those is the May 1977 case in which a boy claimed to have sighted the creature. In recent years, according to the Bigfoot Field Researchers Organization (www.bfro.net), a woman cited a footprint at Twin Creek outside of Gratis.

Learn more about the history and recent stories of Bigfoot sightings throughout Ohio when the Eaton Branch of Preble County District Library welcomes Mike Miller of the Ohio Night Stalkers. Miller will focus on tracking Bigfoot in Ohio and some sightings in our area. The Ohio Night Stalkers have been on the trail of Bigfoot and even have some recent audio and video recordings to share.

“We had a great response at a Bigfoot program a couple years ago,” said Carly Wall, Branch Manager of the Eaton Library. “Many people in our area have experienced unknown noises, tracks, and other mysterious happenings in our rural county. We expect to have another big crowd for the Ohio Night Stalkers.”

The Ohio Night Stalkers will be at the Eaton Library on Saturday, Nov. 12, at 1 p.m. The Eaton Library is at 301 N. Barron St. For more information on library programs, visit www.preblelibrary.org.
