Andrew Newport of Eaton has been named to the 2015 fall semester Dean’s List at Ohio Wesleyan University. To earn Dean’s List recognition, OWU students must achieve a grade point average of 3.5 or better on a 4.0 scale in all applicable classes.

Maria Brubaker

Maria Brubaker of Eaton has received the WGU Leaders in Nonprofit Scholarship from Western Governors University (WGU).

Bailey Schwaberow

Bailey Schwaberow of West Alexandria, a student At Twin Valley South High School, was recently presented the DEKALB Agricultural Accomplishment Award, sponsored by the Monsanto Company. Bailey is the daugher of Douglas and Sandra Schwaberow. She received the award for excellence in academics, leadership and agricultural experience. Her experiences and accomplishments have included class scholarship award, agriculture education experience with kindergartners, and over 100 hours of community service. Bailey’s agricultural education instructor at TVS is Alison Derringer. As the winner of the 2016 award, Bailey’s name will be recorded on a permanent plaque to be on display at TVSHS.
