County high school graduations begin Thursday

PREBLE COUNTY — The graduating classes of 2017 from area high schools will begin stepping into their futures as they claim their diplomas beginning this week.

Seniors from Tri-County North and National Trail Twin Valley South will be the first of the classes in Preble County to turn their tassels and move on to rest of their lives.

Salem Church of God in Clayton will be the site of Tri-County North High School’s commencement exercises. TCN seniors will graduate on Thursday, May 25, at 7 p.m. at the church.

On Friday, May 26, National Trail High School’s seniors will celebrate with their graduation ceremony in the NTHS gymnasium, beginning at 6:30 p.m.

Also, on Friday, the seniors from Preble Shawnee will receive their diplomas during a ceremony at Princeton Pike Church of God in Hamilton, beginning at 7 p.m.

Twin Valley Community Local School officials will celebrate and honor the graduating seniors of South, on Tuesday, May 30, in a ceremony to be held at at Princeton Pike Church of God in Hamilton, at 7 p.m.

Eaton High School will again hold it’s graduation ceremony at Millett Hall in Oxford. Eaton’s seniors will be the final Preble County class to walk in a ceremony which will begin at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday, June 3.
