EATON — On the evening of April 11, the Preble County Business & Professional Womens Club awarded their Mary Garrett Scholarship to Emma McKinney of Eaton High School.

This scholarship was available for a female Preble County resident, who will graduate this year from a Preble County school.

The criteria for the selection covered citizenship, academics, extra-curricular activities, plus an autobiographical essay. This one-time non-continuing scholarship will be made directly to the university or college of choice.

Emma is the daughter of Randall and Shari McKinney.
