EATON — “Let Me Entertain You, Let Me Make You Smile,” says Glenn Parks of Banjo Entertainment. He will be performing for us at noon on Fun Friday, March 3, at The Grange located at 501 Nation Avenue in Eaton. Tickets are $3 for members and $5 for non-members. Purchase your ticket in advance at the Preble County Council on Aging.

The Northern Connection “Lunch & Learn:” On March 8, at 11:30 a.m. our entertainment will be Sweet Sensation at the St. Paul United Methodist Church, located at 301 E. Main Street in New Paris. The Northern Connection is a partnership between the Preble County Council on Aging and the St. Paul United Methodist Church. Lunch is served at no charge (donations are welcome) followed by Sweet Sensation entertainment. Everyone is welcome to attend. Thursday Night Weekly Dance: The Thursday Night Dance is held from 5-8 p.m. at The Grange at 501 Nation Avenue, Eaton. The Silvertones, a local band from Camden, will provide an enjoyable evening of classic rock & roll and country music for your listening and dancing pleasure. Band members include Michael Powers on piano; Mike Buckley, lead guitar; Danny Witt, bass; and Gary “Pete” Peters on drums. The dance features delicious food, with a $1 menu, a 50/50 drawing, and door prizes. Admission is $3 per individual/$5 per couple. Join us for a fun evening! History of St. Patrick’s Day: Stop in the Activities Center Friday, March 10, at 1:30 p.m. to hear about the History of St. Patrick’s Day.

Bingo: Play Bingo with us Tuesday, March 14, at 2 p.m. and Friday, March 17, at 2 p.m., lucky leprechauns welcome. Thanks to our sponsors, Maple Gardens and The Knolls of Oxford.

Bible Study/Prayer Group: Charlie Wagner will be leading a bible study/prayer group here at the Activities Center the second Tuesday of each month at 9:30 a.m. They will open with prayer, read scriptures from the Bible, have open prayers, take prayer requests, open communication, and closing prayer. Charlie is excited to share in this devotion with you. Show up beginning Tuesday, March 14, at 9:30 a.m. at the Senior Activity Center.

Make A Necklace: Wednesday, March 15, at 2 p.m., we will be making necklaces together. All supplies are included unless you have a special piece you want bring to create with. This is a free experience.
