The West Alexandria Fire Department and the Ohio State Highway Patrol responded to a two-vehicle accident involving a motorcycle and dump-truck in the 2000 block of Quaker Trace Road just south of the Halderman Road intersection on Wednesday, Aug. 5, around 4 p.m. A man driving the motorcycle was removed by CareFlight from the scene, after suffering a severe lower leg injury but those injuries were not considered life threatening according to officials.
