EATON — Preble County Sheriff’s deputies have filed formal charges against the suspect who fled from deputies and entered National Trail High School on Saturday, Dec. 17.

Gabriel Steven Bonish, 55 of Poland, Ohio, has been charged with the following crimes in Eaton Municipal Court:

•Inducing panic, a fifth-degree felony;

•Possessing criminal tools, a fifth-degree felony;

•Failure to comply with order or signal of a police officer, a first-degree misdemeanor;

•Three counts criminal trespass, fourth-degree misdemeanors.

According to Sheriff Mike Simpson, Bonish is also wanted on charges in Harrison County. He remained in the Preble County Jail at press time. Bond in the case has been set at $1,485.
