Walk to End Alzheimer’s kick-off set

GREENVILLE – The Alzheimer’s Association is inviting Darke and Preble county residents to attend an open house on Thursday, Aug. 13 from 4-5:30 p.m., to learn more about the 2015 Greenville Walk to End Alzheimer’s.

The open house will take place at The Bistro off Broadway at 117 E 5th Street in Greenville. Food and drink will be provided and a cash bar will be available. Stop by any time to learn more about registering a team, growing a team, fundraising, and Walk Day logistics. Participants will also have the opportunity to speak with successful fundraisers and pick up chapter resources.

The Greenville Walk to End Alzheimer’s will be held on Saturday, Oct. 3, at Greenville City Park. Learn more and register for the Walk at alz.org/walk. Alzheimer’s disease is an epidemic, currently affecting more than 200,000 individuals in the state of Ohio.
