EATON – Preble County District Library cardholders can now access thousands of video games for PC and Android devices. Through a subscription with RBDigital from Recorded Books, Inc., library users can download games to home PCs and Android mobile phones and tablets with OnePlay for Libraries.

Library users can instantly download and play unlimited Android and PC games for free. OnePlay for Libraries includes over 1,000 games (with more than 800 PC titles and more than 200 Android titles) from over 75 different publishers.

As part of this service, new games are added daily, and users are not subject to holds or waiting. Preble County District Library users can download games and play them offline without waiting or due dates.

“OnePlay adds to the libraries’ growing collection of digital resources, all of which make the library accessible to everyone via the internet,” said PCDL Marketing Coordinator Mike Zimmerman. “I can personally attest to the quality of OnePlay through my rigorous testing of Lego Batman on my home PC.”

Access OnePlay from the library’s website (www.preblelibrary.org). Under the “eLibrary” tab at the top of the site, click “eGames.” Create an account on OnePlay, and download the OnePlay app to your device.

See a library staff member at any of Preble County District Library’s seven branches in Camden, Eaton, Eldorado, New Paris, West Alexandria, West Elkton, or West Manchester for more information on accessing OnePlay and downloading games.
