David Baker to speak at PCRTA

INGOMAR — David Baker, professor and poet, will be the guest speaker at the June 14 Preble County Retired Teachers Association meeting. He is the author of 11 books of poetry. His presentation, My Ohio, will draw from his life in Ohio for more than 30 years, and his poetry springs directly out of his life and experiences here.

PCRTA meetings begin at noon at the St. John’s Lutheran Church, Enterprise Road in Ingomar. The menu includes creamed chicken & noodles, mashed potatoes, peas, perfection salad, homemade pie and beverages. The cost of the meal is $10. Make reservation by June 10 to Darrell Meeks(dpmeeks@embarqmail), by phone (456-5340) or by mail (5091 Monroe Central Road, Eaton, OH 45320). Checks can be made payable to PCRTA, or attendees can pay at the door.
