EATON — An assortment of activities and special events are planned at the Preble County Senior Center. The following is a sample of what you can find:

• Oct. 22 & 29 — Quilting Chicks – 10 a.m. – SC

• Oct. 22 & 29 — Thursday Night Dance – 5 p.m. – TG

• Oct 22 & 30, Nov. 4 & 11 — Health Living Exercises – 9:30 a.m. – SC

• Oct. 23 — Inside Look at Visual Art Center of Preble County – 1:30 p.m. – SC

• Oct. 28 — Wii Games – 8 a.m. – SC

• Oct. 29 — Gateway Health Medicare Seminar – 9:30 a.m. – SC

• Nov. 3 — Euchre – 1:30 p.m. – SC

• Nov. 4 & 25 — Scrapbooking Club – 10:30 a.m. – SC

• Nov. 5 — Music Club – 10 a.m. – TG

• Nov. 6 — “Fun Friday” – noon – TG

Red Cross CPR & First Aid Class

The Preble County Senior Center will be hosting a Red Cross CPR & First Aid Class on Friday, Oct. 23, from 10 a.m. – noon. The Preble County Senior Center is located at 800 East St. Clair Street in Eaton. Training people how to respond to and prepare for emergencies is a core mission of the American Red Cross. In this class, you will learn health and safety skills, become knowledgeable, confident, and ready to respond in almost any emergency.
