Turkey dinner

Sugar Valley United Methodist Church will hold its annual turkey dinner on Saturday, Oct. 10, from 4:30-7 p.m. at the church located at the corner of Ohio 732 and Camden Sugar-Valley Road, Eaton. Donations of $10 for adults; $5 for ages 4-10, will be accepted. For children ages 3-under, the dinner is free.

CUMC breakfast

Camden United Methodist Church’s “All You Can Eat Breakfast,” will be held the fourth Saturday of every month, 7-11 a.m. Cost is $6.

Go Ministries

Go Ministries International has moved from 5125 U.S. 40, New Paris to West Orchard Street, in West Manchester. This is just eight miles from its former location. Go Ministries is a full gospel/non-denominational church with something for the entire family. Sunday worship and children’s church is at 10:30 a.m. Bible study and Soldiers for Christ Youth services are Tuesday at 6:30 p.m. Live bluegrass the first Friday of every month and southern gospel national and local groups, 7-9 p.m. Admission is free and a love offering will be received. St. John Church

St. John Church in West Alexandria will hold a trip to La Comedia on Thursday, Oct. 1 to watch the Church Basement Ladies in “The Last Potluck Supper.” To reserve tickets, contact Denise Smith at 937-533-8006. St. John is located at 20 E. South Street in West Alexandria.

WA Church of the Brethren

The next free Community Crockpot Meal at West Alexandria Church of the Brethren is Wednesday, Oct. 7, from 5:30-7:30 p.m. Community meals will continue the first Sunday of every month at the same time slot. Salem Lutheran Church

Salem Lutheran Church in West Alexandria has begun its fall schedule, with Sunday School, for all ages, at 9:30 a.m. and worship at 10:30 a.m.

Jr. Lutherans for ages preschool through sixth grade, meets every Wednesday with a meal at 6 p.m. and program is from 6:30-7:30 p.m. The group will continue to meet Wednesday evenings until the Lenten Season next spring.

Social Outings of Salem “S.O.S.” Progressive Dinner starts at 4:30 p.m. Contact Diana Wall at 839- 5326 for details or if you would like to host a stop. The evening will conclude with dessert and a bonfire.
