NEW PARIS — After many years of hard work the National Trail MVCTC FFA chapter finally reached one of its major goals — the chapter is now ranked as a top 10 chapter in the nation under the category “Strengthening Agriculture” with its project, the Enchanted Trail.

SNHU Summer 2023 President’s List

BROOKVILLE — Homeschooled children ages 6-12 should pack a bagged lunch and bring it to the Brookville Branch Library, 120 Blue Pride Drive, Brookville, on Thursday, Sept. 14, from noon-1:30 p.m. They’ll eat and after that, will participate in a set of fun and educational activities with Amanda Kerstiens, Children’s Librarian. There’s a different theme each month, including science, math, social studies, creative writing, art and more.

NEW PARIS — Just like that, the National Trail MVCTC FFA chapter recently finished the ninth annual Greenhand Lock-In. It was a huge success with an attendance of more than 50 first-year FFA members.

ENGLEWOOD — The Miami Valley Career Technology Center (MVCTC) staff welcomed students for their 52nd year on Tuesday, Aug. 15.

EATON — On Saturday, July 29, Drum Corps International held a competition in Ohio, and Eaton High School played host to a California-based group as it prepared.

YSU students named to Dean’s List

EATON — Bailey Jerdon, a 2023 graduate of Eaton High School, has been named this year’s recipient of the G. Matthew Henry Memorial Scholarship.

ENGLEWOOD — MVCTC staff is ready to welcome the Class of 2025 to the MVCTC campus for the 2023-2024 school year and has released information regarding the Junior Student Welcome and schedule pick-up.
