Celebrating International Women’s Day
Worldwide on International Women’s Day, marked annually on March 8, groups and individuals unify to celebrate and support women’s advancement. To celebrate International Women’s Day in Preble County, elected officials and staff at the Preble County Courthouse gathered for a photo last week, recognizing the impact women have on their workplace. IWD celebrates the social, economic, cultural, and political achievements of all women and marks a call to action for accelerating women’s equality.
‘New Medicare Card’ telephone scammers posing as government employees
COLUMBUS — The Ohio Department of Insurance issued a consumer alert last month and continues to urge Ohioans on Medicare to be alert for telephone scammers posing as representatives of the government to steal their personal information.
