When you taste a good wine and view art just as fine, that’s amore! Join in the fun as Taffy’s and the Preble County Art Association team up for the first-ever SweetArt Auction, bringing together some of the finest things in life to love.
The SweetArt Auction is on Saturday, Feb. 15, at 8 p.m. at Taffy’s of Eaton. Tickets are $20 each and can be purchased at either Taffy’s or the Visual Arts Center.
Cost includes the event plus five free tastings of a wide selection of craft beers and wines and live music by the Year of the Buffalo.
There is also the option of taking part in the art auction. Pieces are from local artists such as Phillip Erbaugh, Erica Keener, David Maynard, and more.
All proceeds from the auction not only help support the Visual Arts Center but also helps further the center’s educational programming, bringing the love and joy of the arts to people of all ages. Programs include the week-long Summer Art Camp for children, plus many workshops, classes and other events for both adults and children throughout the year.
Space is limited. Tickets are available at Taffy’s, or at the Visual Arts Center at 601 Hillcrest Drive in Eaton, where one can catch a sneak peek of the artwork, now on display. The Visual Arts Center is open from 1-7 p.m. every Tuesday through Friday, Call 937-456-3999 for additional information.
