CLAY TOWNSHIP — The trustees met in executive session with their attorney from Bricker Graydon, of Dayton, concerning the investigation of the police department the trustees are currently conducting.

LEWISBURG — Municipal manager Jeff Sewert informed council the decision was made to join the Miami Valley Communications Council’s electric aggregate program in the attempt to secure lower rates for village residents.

CAMDEN — The Preble County Park District (PCPD) announced last week the unveiling of the “Devil’s Backbone” Legend & Lore roadside marker on Saturday, May 18, at 11 a.m. at the entrance of the Herbert & Patricia Wagers’ Devil’s Backbone Memorial Park located at 1301 Ohio 725 West.

BROOKVILLE — Descendants of hardy pioneers who had settled in and about Pyrmont in Perry Township came to attend the second annual home-coming of the Pyrmont School District. It was held at the Pyrmont school grounds on Sunday, September 1, 1929.

EATON — The first half of the Eaton Community Schools Board of Education meeting on Monday, April 15, was a time of honoring and recognizing students and staff for their recent accomplishments.
